WHAT TO SEE IN SANTA BARBARA WINE COUNTRY

Santa Barbara Mission
Laguna and Los Olivos Streets, Santa Barbara

Called the Queen of Missions for its graceful beauty. From the perspective of the Mission you get a true look at the evolution of Santa Barbara. You can see how it has changed from a Chumash land to a Spanish land and finally to an American state. It has seen earthquakes that caused it to be rebuilt and illustrates the changing lifestyles of the people it served.

Santa Ines Mission
1760 Mission Drive, Solvang

Founded in 1804, Santa Ines (Saint Agnes) was the 19th and final mission to be built in southern California. Known as the "the hidden gem of the Missions" due to its remoteness from the Calle Real.
